The Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group (BTHCAG) is built on a diverse membership structure that serves as the foundation of its strength and impact. Each membership category—ranging from general community members to business partners, advisory board participants, and executive leaders—plays a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission to improve infrastructure, public spaces, and small business development within the community. Together, these categories create a collaborative ecosystem where residents, entrepreneurs, and leaders unite under shared commitments, responsibilities, and benefits, ensuring that every voice and contribution helps drive meaningful, sustainable change throughout District #4.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP

General Members form the foundation of the Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group (BTHCAG). They represent the collective voice of the community and play an essential role in advancing the organization’s mission to improve infrastructure, public spaces, small business development, and leadership within District #4.

Commitments:
  • Responsible for paying yearly membership dues of $50.
  • Actively participate in community meetings, events, and initiatives.
  • Stay informed on organizational efforts, community developments, and advocacy opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Leadership and Advisory Board regarding community priorities and initiatives.
  • Support volunteer projects and fundraising efforts that advance the mission of BTHCAG.
  • Serve as community ambassadors, helping to share information, recruit new members, and encourage civic participation.
Benefits:
  • Eligibility to serve on committees and contribute to special projects.
  • Access to members-only updates, meetings, and communications regarding organizational progress and opportunities.
  • Networking opportunities with community leaders, entrepreneurs, and local officials.

BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP

The Business Membership is established for entrepreneurs, organizations, and business owners who are committed to supporting community growth while expanding their own visibility and impact. This membership connects businesses with local residents, fosters collaboration, and promotes sustainable economic development within the Brentwood Trinity Heights community.

Commitments:
  • Responsible for payment of annual membership dues of $100.
  • Must be a legally recognized business entity under the State of Texas and/or IRS business formation requirements.
  • Must maintain good ethical standing and alignment with the mission and values of the Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group.
  • Encouraged to participate in at least two (2) community events, meetings, or initiatives per year.
  • Provide occasional business insights or mentorship opportunities to help advance local entrepreneurship and workforce development.
Benefits:
  • Listed and advertised in the Community Small Business Catalog and on BTHCAG’s digital platforms.
  • Marketed and referred to the Brentwood Trinity Heights community as a preferred business partner for local engagement and commerce.
  • Eligible to participate in community vendor events, business showcases, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Access to networking opportunities, business resources, and community-driven collaborations.
  • Recognition in select BTHCAG communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.

ADVISORY MEMBERSHIP

Advisory Board Members serve as trusted thought partners and community ambassadors who provide strategic insight, guidance, and expertise to help the Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group (BTHCAG) fulfill its mission and advance its goals.

Commitments & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for annual dues of $100.
  • Appointed by the Executive Board based on demonstrated alignment with the mission, goals, and values of the organization.
  • Serve as a non-voting advisory body providing recommendations and insights to the Executive Board and committees.
  • Offer professional expertise, community perspective, and innovative ideas that strengthen organizational initiatives.
  • Attend and actively participate in quarterly advisory meetings and select community events.
  • Support strategic planning efforts by providing feedback on major projects, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Advocate for BTHCAG in the community and assist in identifying potential donors, sponsors, and collaborators.
  • Review and provide input on proposed community programs, initiatives, and policy recommendations.
  • Mentor or advise emerging community leaders or committee chairs as needed.
  • Promote positive visibility and uphold the reputation and integrity of BTHCAG in all public and professional settings.

This membership tier represents the organization’s leadership core and ensures accountability, vision, and progress across all initiatives.
